Hi.
I lack the energy to come up with a better title.
Considering how long I’ve been absolutely dormant on here, it felt strange seeing that new people as recent as last week are still subscribing to my email list. As someone obsessed with updates and closure, it felt wrong to not at least make it explicit that I have no plan of posting any more articles.
Nothing personal — I’ve just already said most of what I originally wanted to say. Even if I didn’t, I’ve lost the time and energy to get back into writing. My hobbies have changed and I don’t like having internet personas that I have to tidy up this much. I’ve been putting off transcribing the Anything That Moves magazine for like, two years now… trust me, I’m embarrassed. I will rectify this eventually. In fairness, I’ve also been homeless for the past few years, which has gradually mauled my motivation to do much of anything (the publishing timestamps on my articles are seldom accurate to when I actually wrote them).
I don’t remember if I ever actually updated all of the old Z-Library (R.I.P.) links in my posts to Library Genesis ones, but I’ll do that at some point if I still need to. Pinky swear.
It’s nice knowing that people still find my old keyboard clicks insightful. I’m thankful that I contributed something. One time, two years ago, someone sent me a screenshot claiming that their friend’s Gender Studies professor had included one of my articles in their curriculum, which I’m still deeply honored by. I never got a chance to contact that professor, but if they see this: I would greatly enjoy chatting with you. If you prefer not to reveal your email in the comments, feel free to message me on Twitter.
